Meet Mackenzie! She will be graduating from Berean Academy this next spring and enjoys cooking, shopping, bike riding/hanging out with friends, reading, rollerblading, and watching old classic movies with her mom on rainy days. Mackenzie is determined, ambitious, friendly and responsible. Salty snacks are her favorite, especially Lays plain potato chips. Needles or shots are her least favorite thing. Math and science are Mackenzie’s favorite school subjects and anything social like the student section of ball games are her favorite activities. In her spare time, Mackenzie likes to spend time with friends shopping, movies, bike riding or fishing but she also spends quite a bit of time playing violin in weddings. Speaking of the violin, most people don’t know that Mackenzie has played the violin since she was four but really didn’t like it until she was 12. She says that discipline (mom) kept her going and now she really enjoys it and playing in weddings and the symphony. Mackenzie also attracts small children wherever she goes. Although she doesn’t usually play country music on the violin, it is on her playlist. Future plans for Mackenzie include pursuing Pre-Med but isn’t settled on college or specialty. On her bucket list is to travel the world and go to Washington DC, New York City, and Hollywood. She would also choose to go to Europe and specifically Rome, Paris and London. Other bucket list items include going on as many rollercoasters as possible, scuba diving and taking a ride in a fighter airplane. If you’ve met Mackenzie, you know she has the most contagious smile and it is normally on display. So enjoyed working with you to capture the pictures you requested, Mackenzie. Enjoy your senior year!
